ITEM SUMMARY:
* At the October 3, 2016 Work Session, the City Council discussed appointments to Planning Advisory Committee and a Technical Advisory Committee
* Planning Advisory Committee members will be expected to receive Master Plan briefings and documents and provide strategic input concerning the subjects listed in the following Meeting Schedule.
* The Mayor appointed the following City Council members and representatives to be selected to serve on the Committees:
o Planning Advisory Committee:
o Mayor Brian Loughmiller
o Council member Travis Ussery
o Councilwoman Tracy Rath
o Council member Chuck Branch
o Each City Council representative will recommend a representative of their District.
o Councilwoman Rath will provide a recommendation to represent Collin County.
o Mayor Pro Tem Pogue will provide a recommendation to represent the McKinney Chamber of Commerce.
o The following entities will be invited to provide a representative:
* Allen
* Fairview
* Plano
* Frisco
* Prosper
* Airport-adjacent Land Owners
o Technical Advisory Committee:
* Mayor Pro Tem Pogue
* Council member Rainey Rogers
* Council member Don Day
* Representatives of key Airport users:
o TI
o Air Flight
o Encore Wire
o Ag Power
o Monarch
o First Flight
o Select Avionics
o MHOA
o CCHOA
o Care Flight

* Air Traffic Control Tower Manager
* City Staff
* The Airport Master Plan Update is scheduled to begin in late October or early November 2016.
