ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Structural and Steel Products of Fort Worth, Texas for the Purchase of Traffic Signal Poles and Accessories.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 17-01FP Traffic Signal Poles on September 11, 2016.
• Out of 43 supplier notifications, one (1) bid was received from Structural and Steel Products of Fort Worth, Texas on September 29, 2016.
• The proposal was reviewed by the Traffic Manager to ensure all requirements met the needs and standards listed in the Invitation to Bid.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a two (2) year period with three (3) one (1) year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for the Traffic Signal Poles are budgeted in various Traffic Engineering Accounts
