ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with David’s Paint and Body of McKinney, Texas, for Automotive Paint and Body Services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 17-02SC Automotive Paint and Body Services on September 18, 2016.
• Out of 85 supplier notifications, one (1) bid was received from David’s Paint and Body of McKinney, Texas, on October 6, 2016.
• The proposal was reviewed by the Fleet Operations Manager to ensure all requirements met the needs and standards listed in the Invitation to Bid.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a two (2) year period with three (3) one (1) year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for the Automotive Paint and Body Services has been approved in the FY 17 budget.
