ITEM SUMMARY:
• Requested grant is to bring “Edge of Imagination” to the McKinney Public Library system for two performances.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Arts Respond Program through the Texas Commission on the Arts, provides 50% of professional artist fees to schools, libraries, and nonprofit organizations to hire an artist from the TCA Touring Roster to do a performance.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The estimated cost for both performances is $1,765. Match of 50% or $883 will be required.
• Matching funds will be requested from McKinney Arts Commission Outreach Funds at their April 20, 2017 meeting.
