RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a construction agreement to provide audio / visual and construction services related to the systems upgrade of City Council Chambers.
* The selected contractor, ScoBilt Contractors, Inc. (ScoBilt), submitted a proposal to provide audio / visual and construction services for the renovation of A/V systems in the City Council Chambers in the amount of $733,850.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Due to aging infrastructure and antiquated A/V and Broadcasting systems, the City Council needs to upgrade all A/V Systems.
* On February 21, 2016, a request for qualifications (RFQ) was advertised for professional consulting services firms to perform typical and complete audio, visual and broadcasting design services for all City facilities, and initially for the renovation and upgrade of all such systems in the City Hall Council Chambers.
* On April 19, 2016, a professional services contract was authorized with the selected consultant team, Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. (WJHW), to provide audio visual design services for the renovation of the A/V systems in the City Council Chambers for an amount not to exceed $65,000.
