ITEM SUMMARY:
• At the last meeting of the McKinney Urban Transit District on February 28, 2017, staff was directed to formulate a Cost Share Policy for the transit service provision among the participating members of the MUTD.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• For the initial service period, revenues (federal and state grant funding), transit costs, and minimum local match, will be based on the participating member’s population divided by the population of all participating members of the MUTD.
• The resulting percentage will be the basis for apportioning revenues, costs and minimum local match to the participating members of the MUTD.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• TXDOT grant funds available to the McKinney Urban Transit District (MUTD) for FY17 are $401,858.
