ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Staff requests authorization to purchase a plaque with information on the sculpture and donor of the “tearing down” from FY17 Arts Commission Outreach funds

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The sculpture “the tearing down”, by George Tobolowsky, is currently displayed in the City of McKinney, Development Services building at 221 N. Tennessee Street

                     Donation of the sculpture by Mark and Geralyn Kever was accepted by City Council on December 15, 2015

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The cost of the donation plaque will not exceed $100 and will be paid from the Arts Commission Outreach budget
