ITEM SUMMARY:
• Staff requests authorization to purchase a plaque with information on the sculpture and donor of the “tearing down” from FY17 Arts Commission Outreach funds
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The sculpture “the tearing down”, by George Tobolowsky, is currently displayed in the City of McKinney, Development Services building at 221 N. Tennessee Street
• Donation of the sculpture by Mark and Geralyn Kever was accepted by City Council on December 15, 2015
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The cost of the donation plaque will not exceed $100 and will be paid from the Arts Commission Outreach budget
