RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Appoint member to the NTMWD Board
ITEM SUMMARY:
• North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) provides water for 13 member cities.
• The Board is comprised of members from each of the member cities.
• Joe Joplin and Charles McKissick are the two current representatives on the Board for the City of McKinney
• Joe Joplin’s term of office on the North Texas Municipal Water District Board expires on May 31, 2017.
• Mr. Joplin has served as one of the City of McKinney’s representatives on the NTMWD Board since 2003.
• Mr. Joplin has expressed a desire to continue to represent the City of McKinney on the NTMWD Board.
