ITEM SUMMARY:
- This Resolution:
- Establishes a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $4,262,834 as proposed by Structure Tone Southwest, LLC.
- Authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Structure Tone Southwest, LLC, the Construction Manager at Risk for the MNA Hangar Renovation Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On April 18, 2017 a preconstruction services contract was authorized for the preconstruction services phase related to the Hangar Renovation Project.
• Structure Tone Southwest, LLC has compiled the bids and submitted a final Guaranteed Maximum Price for consideration and approval by the City Council.
• The construction documents were issued in May, 2017 and have been advertised for bids by Structure Tone Southwest, LLC.
• Upon approval, Structure Tone Southwest, LLC will be notified to begin construction with completion scheduled for April, 2018.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a Construction Manager at Risk services contract for construction services and potential changes to that scope of services, with Structure Tone Southwest, LLC for an amount not to exceed $4,262,834.
• Funding for this project is currently available in Project AI1705.
