RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The National Trust for Historic Preservation offers grants to encourage preservation at the local level by providing seed money for preservation projects.
• McKinney Main Street is requesting approval to apply for and accept, if granted, funds to help with a project in Historic Downtown McKinney.
• Applications are due on July 7, 2017 and if granted will award up to $150,000 for a project.
• Accepted applications will be considered through a public voting process that will be conducted in September and October.
