ITEM SUMMARY:
• The photography of nine artists, ages 8 to 62, was on display at MPAC May 15-21, 2017.
• Approximately 200 attendees viewed the artwork.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Per 2017 Arts Grants Guidelines approved by Council on October 4, 2016, Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
• Project request for a grant award of $1,198 was approved by the McKinney Arts Commission at its regular meeting on April 20, 2017.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The current balance of Outreach funds is $22,500.
