RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Appoint a Member to the Building and Standards Commission and an Alternate to the Board of Adjustment
ITEM SUMMARY:
• On August 28th the City Council approved the 2016-17 annual appointments.
• During the meeting, there were two applicants that were inadvertently appointed to two boards.
• Staff is recommending that Anthony Salas be appointed to a two year term as Alternate to the Board of Adjustment to replace Sam Franklin who was appointed to Community Grants Advisory Commission and Warren Hilla be appointed to a two year term on the Building and Standards Commission to replace Terrance Wegner who was appointed to the Historic Preservation Advisory Board.
• After the Council approves the appointments to these two Boards, letters will go out to all new appointees, reappointed members, members going off the board as well as all those applicants that were not appointed to a Board.
