ITEM SUMMARY:
• This information briefing summarizes the leadership’s approach to developing a City of McKinney Employee Values Statement.
• The approach included 49 small group meetings with employees across all departments. In total, nearly 600 employees participated.
• Based on their specific input, the city established four guiding core values. They are (1) Respect, (2) Integrity, (3) Service and (4) Excellence (R.I.S.E.).
• The presentation will also summarize examples of how we will integrate the core values into the entire fabric of the city.
