ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney recognizes that the rapid population growth in Collin County presents current and future concerns about traffic congestion and overall mobility in North Central Texas
• In response, the City of McKinney supports the development of a strategic plan for public transportation that complements the plans for single and high occupancy vehicular transportation and other forms of transportation
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On September 19, 2017, the City of McKinney City Council approved a Resolution joining other cities in Collin County on the development of a comprehensive public transportation plan for the County
