ITEM SUMMARY:                     

                     All of the required documentation for the recipient-to-recipient stock transfer has been completed and staff is transferring title and possession of buses from TAPS to MUTD

                     DCTA will perform “re-branding” and required maintenance of buses before placing into service

                     In order to maximize available grant funding, FTA funding will be used for any capital expenditures on the buses

                     At this time, buses will be housed at DCTA

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

                     On August 30, 2017, the MUTD Board recommended a Resolution to  the City Council, for the approval of a recipient-to-recipient stock transfer of two buses from TAPS to the City of McKinney

                     The City of McKinney City Council approved a Resolution authorizing the recipient-to-recipient stock transfer on September 19, 2017

                     The Texoma Area Paratransit System (TAPS) Board approved a Resolution authorizing the recipient-to-recipient stock transfer on October 2, 2017

                     The recipient-to-recipient stock transfer was approved by FTA on October 16, 2017
