RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes Cigna to administer a service reimbursement agreement between the City of McKinney and Occumed Plus for medical services and supplies provided to enrollees who are covered in the City of McKinney health benefit plans.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City’s professional services agreement with Occumed Plus to provide medical services at discounted rates is currently administered by Allegiance. City’s administrative services agreement with Allegiance will terminate on December 31, 2017.
• This amendment to Cigna’s ASO Agreement will become effective on January 1, 2018, and at no additional costs to the City.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• There is no additional costs associated with this contract amendment.
