ITEM SUMMARY:
• Russell Tether, Fine Arts Associates, LLC is presenting a Request for Proposals for approval by the McKinney Arts Commission for a sculptor for public art project.
• On April 20, 2017, the McKinney Arts Commission approved an expenditure of $20,000 from the Public Art Fund, with a private match to be provided by Don Day, for a total sculpture expenditure of $40,000.
• Although a $2,500 expenditure was approved for consultant services for the procurement of the sculpture, Russell Tether is providing his services at no cost to the City.
