* Approval of Ordinance Amendment
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This amendment to various sections of Chapter 142 of the Code of Ordinances (Subdivision Regulations) is required to align with the requirements, criteria, and language as set forth in the new City of McKinney Engineering Design Manual currently published in the office of the City Secretary.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The purpose of the Engineering Design Manual is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public by establishing standard engineering practices and minimum engineering criteria for the City of McKinney, Texas.
* A design contract with Kimley-Horn was approved by City Council on July 19, 2016 for development of a new Engineering Design Manual.
