RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Staff recommends approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Annual Budget and the 2018 - 2022 Capital Improvement Program to provide funding for Owners’s Rep services for the Western TKI Hangar project (AI1743) and the Western TKI Executive Terminal project (AI1744).
• The budget will be amended by transferring $297,000 from the Airport Operating Fund balance to the Airport Construction Fund and appropriating $115,500 in the Western TKI Hangar project AI1743 and $181,500 in the Western TKI Executive Terminal project AI1744.
• There is a companion agenda item for a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the professional services contracts for owner’s representative and program management services with Project Control for the Western TKI development project consisting of an executive terminal and hangar.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The selected consultant firm, Project Control of Texas, Inc., submitted a fee proposal to provide professional owner’s representative/program management services for these projects in amounts not to exceed:
o $115,500 - TKI Hangar (14 months)
o $181,500 - TKI Executive Terminal (22 months)
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Annual Budget and the 2018 - 2022 Capital Improvement Program to provide funding for Owners’s Rep services for the Western TKI Hangar project (AI1743) and the Western TKI Executive Terminal project (AI1744).
• The budget will be amended by transferring $297,000 from the Airport Operating Fund balance to the Airport Construction Fund and appropriating $297,000 in the Airport Construction Fund.
