ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the professional services contracts for owner’s representative and program management services with Project Control for the WesternTKI development project consisting of an executive terminal and hangar.
• The selected consultant firm, Project Control of Texas, Inc., submitted a fee proposal to provide professional owner’s representative/program management services for the projects in amounts not to exceed:
o $115,500 - Project #AI1743 - TKI Hangar (14 months)
o $181,500 - Project #AI1744 - TKI Executive Terminal (22 months)
• There is an accompanying Ordinance amending the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget and amending the 2018-2022 Capital Improvements Program to provide funds for Owner’s Rep services for these projects.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Project Control of Texas, Inc. has been pre-qualified through a RFQ selection process and is one of three consulting firms authorized by Council on December 5, 2017 to provide owner’s representative and program management services.
• Project Control is currently managing the Toyota Hangar Renovation project.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Project Control shall be compensated on a monthly basis.
• Payment for services shall be a sum not to exceed ($7,000.00) per month for a maximum period not to exceed:
o Twenty two (22) months for the TKI Executive Terminal - $181,500
o Fourteen (14) months for the TKI Hangar - $115,500
• Reimbursable expenses shall be a maximum monthly amount of $1,250.
• Total not to exceed amount for both monthly services and reimbursable expenses for both projects shall be $297,000.
