ITEM SUMMARY:
• As per Resolution 2017-10-187(R), the McKinney Arts Commission awarded a FY18 Art Grant of $10,510 to Friends of the Library.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Annual Art Grants provide financial assistance for up to 50% of the eligible expenses associated with annual projects.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• 70% of the $10,510 grant was awarded to the organization at the beginning of the fiscal year. Upon approval of the Final Report by the Arts Commission, the remaining 30% ($3,153) will be awarded.
• Friends of the Library reported actual expenses of $24,098.88.
