ITEM SUMMARY:
• Laura Cegelski, our Supervisor of the Senior Recreation Center, will provide programming and operational highlights from last year and present an overview of forthcoming events.
• The Senior Recreation Center has welcomed many residents since it was opened in 2002 (the indoor pool opened in 2003). The 16,000 SF facility has experienced normal wear and aging over the past 16 years, but it is in need of a full evaluation to determine how to best meet the expectations and needs of our growing senior population.
• Director Michael Kowski and Supervisor Cegelski will discuss the future steps related to evaluating the facility. A more formal presentation on this topic will take place at a future date.
• This is a discussion item and no formal action is required by the Board.
