RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Receive an update from Staff.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Staff recently received complaints regarding dust/particulate matter, noise, and lighting issues originating from three businesses generally located on the east side of McDonald Street (State Highway 5) at the intersection with Stewart Road.

 

                     For the past several months, Staff has been investigating these complaints, coordinating with outside agencies, and identifying which City codes are applicable but are not being satisfied by the businesses in question.

 

                     Staff plans to update the City Council regarding the status of this investigation and enforcement actions to date.
