ITEM SUMMARY:
• The McKinney Arts Commission has contracted with the Mid-America Arts Alliance to present the “American Farmer” exhibit at MPAC from June 16 to August 11, 2018. The featured artist, Paul Mobley, would be available for a book signing and speaking engagement, if financial arrangements are made. The tentative appearance date is June 16, 2018.
• Additional funding for the cost of transportation, up to $1,000, and an appearance fee of $1,500 is recommended for approval by the Arts Commission.
• Hotel and food expenses will be provided by McKinney businesses.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• If approved, the current balance of Project funds will be $986.
