ITEM SUMMARY:
• Michelle Bloomer, DCTA, will provide an update on MUTD transit services.
• Michelle Bloomer will give an update on Lyft.
• As a part of our public participation requirement, staff and DCTA will coordinate and host a Transportation Forum.
o The Transportation Forum will provide a community engagement medium that will allow stakeholders from the MUTD cities, DCTA, local businesses, and communities throughout Collin County to discuss potential transportation opportunities, concerns, and solutions.
o We are in the research phase of the project. The date, time, and location of the forum is yet to be determined.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• During the previous MUTD meeting on January 31, 2018, the Board authorized staff and DCTA to further explore service expansion options with Lyft.
