• Receive a presentation from staff
ITEM SUMMARY:
• As part of the City Council Informational Series, staff is presenting the McKinney Open Data Portal, which is a publically accessible source of Geographic Information System (GIS) data in the form of raw data, interactive maps and tables.
• The GIS staff in IT have been working on tools to make city data accessible and useable for the public.
• The presentation will introduce the revamped web based tools to the City Council and the public.
