RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an amendment to the architectural and engineering services contract to provide additional professional design services which include the addition of a drive lane, parking areas, site lighting, landscaping, detention pond and other associated items to complete such scope of work related to the expansion and renovation of the John and Judy Gay Library located at 6861 Eldorado Pkwy, McKinney, Texas 75070.
* Hidell and Associates Architects, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide the additional design services requested and related to the expansion and renovation of the John and Judy Gay Library for an amount of $48,975.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Hidell and Associates Architects, Inc. was previously approved to be the architect of record for the John and Judy Gay Library Expansion and Renovation project by the RFQ (request for qualifications) process in 17-37RFQ in 2017.
