ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     As per City Council Resolution 2017-10-187®, the McKinney Arts Commission awarded a FY18 Art Grant of $6,160 to Plano Symphony Orchestra.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Annual Art Grants provide financial assistance for up to 50% of the eligible expenses associated with annual projects.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     70% of the $6,160 grant was awarded to the organization at the beginning of the fiscal year.  Upon approval of the Final Report by the Arts Commission, the remaining 30% ($1,848) will be awarded.

                     Plano Symphony Orchestra reported actual expenses of $15,153.
