RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Approval of the Recommendation.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with DCBA Landscape Architecture, to provide landscape architectural and engineering services related to the design and construction of the Prestwyck Neighborhood Park project in a contract amount of $188,157.50 and not to exceed $200,000.00

* Scope of Services:
o Basic Services $166,725.00
o Additional Services $ 16,882.50
o Reimburseables $ 4,550.00
o Contingency $ 11,842.50
Total $200,000.00

* The services include design for various park amenities such as a splash pad, pavilion, multi-use court, landscaping and irrigation, trails, signage, etc.

* The development of the park will further be influenced and determined through a serious of public meetings that will be led by DCBA.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* DCBA was selected from a list of pre-qualified landscape architectural firms that Council approved on February 14, 2016.


* The land was acquired in satisfaction of parkland dedication for the Prestwyck subdivision earlier this year.

* This park is located within the Prestwyck subdivision which is generally located south of 380 and east of Coit Road. It is adjacent to a Prosper ISD elementary school (Hughes).
