ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a contract to Speedpro Imaging of Richardson, Texas, Signarama McKinney of McKinney, Texas, Colorworks Printing of Allen, Texas, and Wingfield Signs & Graphics of Richland Hills, Texas to provide fabrication and installation of Custom Signs & Banners to the City on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City of McKinney issued a request for proposals (18-18RFP) for Custom Signs & Banners on May 6, 2018 to 492 vendors.
• Six (6) vendors submitted Proposals in response to the RFP on May 24, 2018.
• An Evaluation Team, comprised of three City employees, reviewed and ranked the Proposals based on the following criteria:
o Qualifications and experience
o Percentage discount
o Reputation of the bidder and the bidder’s goods or services verified through references submitted
o Delivery schedule/time
• Of the 6 vendors that submitted Proposals, the Evaluation Team recommends awarding a contract to the following 4 vendors:
o Speedpro Imaging - Richardson, TX
o Signarama - McKinney, TX
o Colorworks Printing - Allen, TX
o Wingfield Sign and Graphics - Richland Hills, TX
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period with option renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding is available in various citywide accounts.
