RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approve the ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The attached ordinance details the proposed changes to fees in the Code of Ordinances Appendix A Schedule of Fees. These include:
o Alcoholic Beverages Permit Fee
§ Deletion of fee and associated changes to Code of Ordinance language.
o Water & Wastewater Utility Fees
§ Water rates - 5% increase in order to pass through increased cost of services mandated to us from North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD).
§ Wastewater rates - 7% increase in order to pass through increased cost of services mandated to us from North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD).
§ Water and Sewer Tap Fees
§ Other miscellaneous charges
o Airport Fees
§ Hanger Leases
§ Fuel
§ Various Other Fees

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City intends to recover some of the costs of providing services through user fees.
