ITEM SUMMARY:
* This is an item to discuss potential renaming of roadways affected by the reconstruction of FM 546, potential names for un-named roadways in the McKinney City Limits, and potential names for major roadways in the Trinity Falls MUD.
* The portion of the old alignment of FM 546 that begins at Industrial Boulevard and extends southward to Harry McKillop Boulevard (new alignment of FM 546).
* The portion of Country Lane between Old FM 546 and Harry McKillop Boulevard
* The Un-named arterial extending from east of US 75, southward through the Willow Wood Estates subdivision, and continuing to south of Harry McKillop Boulevard (FM 546).
? The Un-named arterial currently known as County Road 943, of which a segment was recently constructed adjacent to the Erwin Farms subdivision.
? Naming of the extension of Trinity Falls Parkway from its current terminus as well as other arterial roadways in the vicinity of the Trinity Falls development.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Un-Named Old Alignment - FM 546:
* The portion of the old alignment of FM 546 that begins at Industrial Boulevard and extends southward to Harry McKillop Boulevard (new alignment of FM 546) has been taken off the Texas Department of Transportation's highway system and has been transferred to the City of McKinney as a local City roadway.
