RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Staff recommends adoption of the ONE McKinney 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* During the August 20th City Council Work Session, Staff presented a 90% draft of the ONE McKinney 2040 for discussion and feedback. Following the August 20th Work Session, Staff also presented the 90% draft to the Planning and Zoning Commission for discussion and feedback. Both the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission were generally supportive of the draft document.
* Since that time, Staff and the project team have finalized the ONE McKinney 2040 Comprehensive Plan for final consideration and action.
* At the September 25th Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting, Staff presented the final comprehensive plan document and received a unanimous recommendation for approval from the Commission.
* We are now pleased to present the final ONE McKinney 2040 Comprehensive Plan document for your consideration.
