• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney will provide a School Resource Officer (SRO) to the Imagine International Academy of North Texas (Imagine), a public charter school in McKinney.
• There will be one (1) SRO assigned to Imagine.
• The cost of the SRO is shared 50% to both Imagine and the City of McKinney.
• The cost of one (1) fully equipped police pursuit vehicle is shared 50% to both Imagine and the City of McKinney.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Imagine requested SRO services for their school.
• The contract allows for one (1) SRO to be assigned to Imagine with Imagine sharing 50% cost of the SRO and one (1) vehicle.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Imagine will pay the contract amount of $62,567 for the 2018-2019 School Resource Officer Program.
