RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the attached Ordinance
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends expenditures in the FY2018-2019 Annual CIP Budget and the 2019-2023 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $34,000 from Median Escrow Zone J and appropriating the funds into the White Ave Median Improvements (PK 1735).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The White Ave project will be designed by DCBA landscape that has completed projects for the City of McKinney in the past.
• The ability to fund this project is contingent on transferring the aforementioned funds into the White Ave Median improvements, (PK1735), as noted in the Item Summary.
• The White Ave median is not landscaped at this time. Approving the amendment allows for the White Ave median to be landscaped from Hardin Road to US 75.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $34,000 from the Median Escrow Zone J and appropriating the funds to CIP project (PK1735) White Ave Median Improvements.
