ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a contract to Lattimore Materials Company of Addison, TX for the purchase of Concrete Ready Mix on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 18-56FP, Concrete Ready Mix on August 19, 2018.

o Posted in McKinney TV
o 30 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• In response to all notices published, one (1) supplier submitted a bid in response to the ITB on September 6, 2018 from Lattimore Materials Company.
• An evaluation team, comprised of staff members from the Public Works Department reviewed the bid and found Lattimore’s bid prices to be competitive with today’s market prices.
• Although only one bid was received the pricing is very competitive and in some cases better than what other cities are paying for like items.
• The City has been utilizing the product and services of Lattimore Materials Company for over the past ten years.
• The staff recommends Lattimore Materials Company as the best value for the city.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding is available in Streets Infrastructure Maintenance Account
