RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with Pittard Construction Company for the construction of the US 380 Waterline Improvements Project for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,000,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Birkhoff, Hendricks & Carter, LLP (BHC) prepared the construction plans for the US 380 Waterline Improvements Project (WA4415).
* The project consists of 12-inch, 16-inch and 24-inch water mains generally along US 380 from Custer Road to the west side of Redbud Estates that are needed to deliver water to the distribution system in the 920 pressure plane per the Water Master Plan.
* Five (5) bids were received for this project on October 4, 2018. The following is a summary of the bids:
