ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Parks and Recreation staff will lead a discussion and workshop session related to the various renovation options at Finch Park. Feedback from this session will be forwarded to the design team for incorporation into their planning efforts.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The Finch Park Improvements Project (PK1211) is a FY17-18 Capital Improvements Program funded by Bonds, MCDC, and Parkland Dedication funds in an amount of $1,900,000.

                     The Finch Park Improvements may include but not be limited to: replacement of playground equipment and splash pad, more concrete trails, additional park shelters, pedestrian bridges, tennis court renovations, modifications to the existing storm system, additional parking, and miscellaneous improvements.

                     In August of 2018, City Council approved a professional services contract for landscape architectural and engineering services with JBI Partners, Inc.

                     Exhibits from JBI will be presented and thoroughly discussed at the meeting.
