ITEM SUMMARY:
• Bluegrass Heritage Foundation, represented by Alan Tompkins, is requesting reimbursement for a $3,000 Outreach Grant.
• A Bluegrass Heritage Festival was held on November 3, 2018 at McKinney Performing Arts Center.
• There were 225 people in attendance at this performance.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
• The McKinney Arts Commission approved a request from Bluegrass Heritage Foundation for a $3,000 Outreach Grant at their January 18, 2018 regular meeting.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The current balance of Outreach funds is $15,000.
