ITEM SUMMARY:
• Eleven vintage piano shows were presented to a wide variety of McKinney audiences.
• The Vintage Piano Hour with Tony Stride explored a wide spectrum of ragtime music with each show unique in which pieces were played and to what degree the show was narrated.
• The total number of attendees for this project was 275.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
• The Outreach Grant request for $1,000 was approved by the McKinney Arts Commission at its regular meeting on July 19, 2018.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The current balance of Outreach funds is $15,000.
