RECOMMENDED MUTD BOARD ACTION: Approve the proposed meeting schedule for the remainder of calendar year 2019
ITEM SUMMARY:
- The MUTD board meetings are currently scheduled ad-hoc, typically once every quarter. Before a meeting date is scheduled, staff polls the board to see their availability. Once staff receives all of the responses, then they coordinate with CSO and CMO to schedule the Council Chamber. This requires significant staff time.
- To make the process as efficient and convenient as possible and to effectively plan, staff is proposing to set the establish the remaining 2019 meetings dates as follows:
o Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 6 P.M.
o Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 6 P.M.
o Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 6 P.M.
• Special Meetings may still be called by any two (2) directors with telephone or written notice, including notice by electronic mail.
