ITEM SUMMARY:

  • Currently, Collin County Transit (CCT) customers have a monthly cap of $400 max on their debit cards ($100 out-of-pocket, $300 subsidized by MUTD)
  • There are a handful of customers that use CCT for medical purposes (dayhab and dialysis) and work that exceeds $400/mo
  • Staff is seeking Board direction on whether to raise the monthly cap
  • The attached document depicts a list of customers who have used more than $300/month in the past 3 months. Also included are the trip reason and the number of trips

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:                      

                     During the previous MUTD Board meeting on September 12, 2018, the Board asked staff to look at raising the monthly cap to assist frequent-using customers and to expend grant funds in a fiscally responsible manner
