ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Collin County History Museum is seeking a $1,000 Outreach Grant for their McKinney Black Community Historic Documentary. 

                     The documentary will begin showing at a community-wide celebration on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.  The event will highlight institutions that have had an integral part in the life of McKinney’s black history and will allow residents/leaders to share historical accounts.

                     Admission to the event will be free.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.

                     Per Arts Grants Guidelines, Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     Funding will come from the Outreach Grant budget for 2018-2019.
