ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget and Amending the 2019-2023 Capital Improvements Program, by transferring $67,000 from Median Escrow Zone I to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into the Collin McKinney Parkway Median Improvements (PK1736).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The Collin McKinney Parkway Medians are in need of solid sod. The Developer initially seeded the median with a mix of Rye and Bermuda and turned the medians over to the City during the winter months. The Bermuda never established and the Rye grass burned out during the following summer in the Texas heat.
* Trees and Irrigation are currently being installed on Collin McKinney Parkway through separate City Contracts.
* The ability to fund these improvements is contingent on transferring the aforementioned funds into the Collin McKinney Pkwy Median Improvements, (PK1736), as noted in the Item Summary.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
* The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $67,000 from the Median Escrow Zone I to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds to CIP project (PK1736) Collin McKinney Median Improvements.
