RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This resolution establishes a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $3,875,000 as proposed by ScoBilt Contractors, Inc. for complete design and build services associated with the Old Settler's Recreation Center Renovation Project (PK4398) located at 1201 E. Louisiana Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract amendment for the GMP for Design/Build services with ScoBilt Contractors, Inc., and any potential future changes, for an amount not to exceed $3,975,000 which includes an owner's contingency of $100,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On June 19, 2018, the City of McKinney authorized a contract for Design/Build Services in conjunction with the pre-construction phase of the Old Settler's Recreation Center Renovation Project (PK4398) and potential changes to that scope of services with ScoBilt Contractors, Inc. in association with Spurgin & Associates Architects.
