ITEM SUMMARY:
* The McKinney Community Development Corporation will conduct a public hearing on the project grant application submitted by the Collin County History Museum to fund the purchase of photo boards for the foyer and gallery of the Museum.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* MCDC has allocated $1,364,926 to fund community projects eligible for consideration under sections 501 to 505 of the Texas Local Government Code in FY 19.
* Support for McKinney entertainment, cultural and tourist facilities is a strategic priority for the MCDC board of directors.

* The mission of the Collin County History Museum is to preserve and honor the past, connect with the present and embrace the future. The organization is committed to the collection and preservation of the rich heritage and history of the people and events that helped shape McKinney

* The museum is a Texas Historic Landmark and offers a unique destination for enjoyment of museum exhibits and the unique architecture and historical features of the building.
