RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Appoint a member to serve on the MEDC board to fulfill a partial term (expiring September 30, 2019).
ITEM SUMMARY:
• MEDC Chairman Jason Burress resigned from the board February 2019.
• Mr. Burress’ absence leaves vacant a board seat which will expire September 30, 2019.
• Mr. Burress’ absence leaves vacant a Chairperson position. The replacing Chairperson will be selected by the MEDC board on March 5, 2019.
