RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Appoint a member to serve on the P&Z board to fulfill a partial term (expiring September 30, 2020)
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Planning & Zoning Commission member Rick resigned from service February 2019, to pursue election to the City Council
• His absence leaves vacant a board seat which will expire September 30, 2020.
• Mr. Franklin was appointed to serve as a permanent member of the Planning & Zoning Commission in January 2019 to fulfill the remaining term vacated by Pamela Smith
• Mr. Franklin most recently served as an Alternate Member of the commission before the permanent appointment
