ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a contract with MSB Constructors, Inc. to provide construction services related to the construction of the McKinney Public Works Restroom Projects located at 1550 S. College Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
* The proposed price for Building A - Parks is $121,359 and for Building B - Water is $262,900 for a total base bid of $384,259. With a contingency of $38,425, the not to exceed amount for this project is $422,684.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* A request for competitive sealed proposals (RFCSP 19-27RFCSP) was issued on January 20, 2019.
* MSB Constructors, Inc. submitted a combined proposal in the amount of $384,259 for both Public Works Restroom Projects.
* MSB Constructors, Inc. is a North Texas construction firm with corporate offices located in Boyd, Texas. Some of the range of projects completed by MSB during their 30 years of experience include the Blaine County Courthouse Renovation, New Hilton Garden Inn with 120 rooms, a new university library as well as new schools, medical facilities, hotels and military housing for the USAF.
