ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Coast to Coast of Bonham, Texas for the purchase of Mowing and Cleanup Services for water and wastewater locations, to be used on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 19-33FP Mowing and Cleanup Services for Water and Wastewater Locations on February 17, 2019.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 123 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• Out of 123 supplier notifications, six (6) bids were received on March 7, 2019.
• An evaluation team comprised of four (4) City employees reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o 40 Points: Price and Best Value
o 30 Points: Reputation of the Bidder and of the Bidder’s Services verified through Letters of Recommendation
o 30 Points: Capacity to Perform Work verified through Equipment and Personnel List
• The evaluation team recommends awarding Coast to Coast as the best value for the City.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with two (2) one (1) year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for these services are currently budgeted in the Water and Wastewater departments mowing accounts.
